Of what trouble does he sing?
She simply cannot hear a thing.
She hears, instead, the cheerful bird,
A much more pleasant melody.
Within this bliss, the warnings missed,
A small price to pay for happiness–
A thought he’d claim is quite absurd,
But now all’s just a memory.

Clinging to the surface
Of a falsely steady ground,
Telling ourselves we’re safe
And things are certain
We’d rather not think twice of…
Until you’re swallowed in the sea,
Clinging to debris
Of all what was before
But storms have made no more–
If only we’d have known…
